There are two kinds of breath: involuntary and voluntary. Involuntary is what most people do most of the time – and while it keeps us alive, it doesn’t do much for the quality of our lives. Voluntary breathing, on the other hand, is a slowed down way of breathing that has a myriad of benefits for our health, both physical and mental.
